Wade Trimmer is the founding pastor of Grace Fellowship of Augusta. He is a gifted preacher, teacher, writer and student of the Word of God. After serving 30 years as our pastor, he felt led of the Lord to devote the rest of his life to the training and discipling of pastors and key lay leaders. Through his non-profit organization, Training for Reigning Institute of Disciple-making, he focuses much of his effort on Third World countries that otherwise have little access to quality training. Pastor Wade is committed to training people to live in loving relationships with other believers, and serve in kingdom partnership to fulfill this Great Commission. Going to the ends of the earth, his ministry is seeking to make disciples of all people groups, baptizing and teaching them all things that Jesus commanded. Since 2008, Pastor Wade’s influence has grown dramatically throughout the world. Making numerous international trips each year, he is teaching disciple-making principles to thousands of people all over the world. Wade continues to be a vital part of our church community. As our Missions Pastor, he is expanding our reach in the earth and is putting us in fellowship with quality ministries that we can partner with in the advancement of the Gospel. In addition, he serves as one of our Overseers, giving valuable oversight and accountability to the ongoing ministry of Grace Fellowship.

The Not-For-Today Version of the Bible

Since the end of the 7th century, there have been over 450 versions of the Bible translated into English! In spite of the many versions of the Bible available today, there is one that is not on the market, but is used by multitudes of believers and unbelievers. I call it the "Not-For-Today Version." Many moderns use this version as they rant about how the Bible is just n...

Too Many Shirkers!

In his excellent book Death by Suburb, David Goetz tells about the theory of a biologist who majors on the study of deer and elk that created a lot of debate among other biologists by setting forth the theory of the "shirker bull." Among elk and deer there's a fall ritual called the "rut" in which the bulls square off against each other, butting heads and seeking dominanc...

"Shut Up!"- The Only Argument Left to the Leftist!

There is an old debater's tactic that says if the points of your argument are weak, shout and pound the podium to distract attention from it. Immorality- Forcing!

Today's most common and powerful tactic of the leftist liberals is to cry, "Stop trying to force your puritanical, dark age morality on me." And then by lobbying, legislating, and loud protesting, they attempt to force their immorality on those of us who believe that there are absolute standards of morality. The unending litany of indignant protests from the "immorality-f...

Overwhelmed with fear, he cries out to the prophet, "Alas, what shall we do?" A vast number of American Christians are beginning to feel the same way, especially as they look about at the rising tide of...

The Key to Growing Into A Loving Person

1 John 4:16a, "And we have known and believed the love that God has for us." John 17:23, "I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me." Modern man's concept of love is largely defined and formed by Hollywood and Madison Avenue. If this premise is true, then e...

The Powerlessness of the Excluded Middle Worldview

By "excluded middle," I am not referring to the principle used in logic that argues a statement must be true or false, allowing no middle position, but rather the middle realm between God and man. In other words, many in the West have a two-tiered view of reality with religion (God, miracles) over science (natural laws, matter), but the realmbetween-- of a devil, demons, a...
