Stephen Aganda was born in Savulugu in the Northern part of Ghana. In 1996, he attended the Baptist Bible Institute of Kumasi, Ghana. While there, he had a touch from the Holy Spirit that confirmed that he should take the gospel to the country of Burkina Faso. In 1999, he moved to Burkina Faso to serve as a missionary, church planter, trainer and participate in the Life Word radio program. Since then, by the grace of God, the Lord has used him to plant Churches (46 churches as of 2015), train pastors and church planters in Ghana, as well as in the neighboring countries of Burkina Faso, Mali, Chad, Niger (all predominately Muslim countries) and others.
Stephen and his wife, Alice, have five children: Benjamin, Christian, IsSara, Anderson, and Propser.
Pray for Stephen's complete healing from the effects of a very serious infection that almost cost him his leg and confined him to the hospital for 8 weeks. Pray for his family, his small farming efforts to provide food for his family, his finances, and for his disciple-making and church-planting ministries.
The Aganda family is helping spread the Gospel and make disciples and we are privileged to Partner in the Gospel with them.
